Tim D. McNinch, 81, passed away peacefully, Friday Sept. 5, 2025, at Hillcrest Hospital surrounded by his family.

Tim was born Oct. 27, 1943, in Wheeling, W.Va., a son of the late Howard and Alta Winters McNinch. He grew up in Wheeling and moved to the Youngstown area in 1970.

He attended West Liberty College, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in education. Tim worked in computer security for Packard Electric in Warren, later EDS, for 25 years before retiring in the late 1990s.

Mr. McNinch was a member of Sand Hill United Methodist Church in Wheeling. He was also an active cattle farmer and a true outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing.
