BATAVIA — A two-week delay in ice making at the David M. McCarthy Memorial Ice Arena will end Sept. 27, allowing planned events and hockey league play to resume.

Matt Gray, principal of Batavia Sports Facility Management, LLC, the firm running the rink, said the John W. Danforth Company was the general contractor on a project to replace the ice chiller for the rink this summer.
