Tonight will be mostly clear with lows in the upper 50s. There is no appreciable change to the forecast going forward, as sunny, quiet, and dry weather looks to continue into next week.

The jet stream flow is very weak, and that is leading to very calm and repetitive weather. This is quite common this time of year, but the lack of tropical waves is not. We are now at the climatological peak of tropical activity, and the Atlantic waters remain unusually calm. Saharan Dust is the culprit and seems to be keeping a lid on things in the tropics.
