NEFFSVILLE, Pa. (WHTM) -- The marching arts will be on full display later this month in Lancaster County.

The Manheim Township Marching Band is hosting "A Showcase in Sight and Sound."

It's set for Saturday, Sept. 20 at Gene Kruis Field at Manheim Township High School, 115 Blue Streak Boulevard.

Nine local bands will perform their field shows, including McCaskey, Manheim Township, Solanco, Ephrata, and Elizabethtown, among others.

Organizers describe it as a unique opportunity to witness the intricate performances, complex musical arrangements, precise drill movements, and more.

Show starts at 6 p.m. with the national anthem by Manheim Township's band. Doors open at 5 p.m.
