Senate tables Schumer’s motion for a vote on Epstein files

WASHINGTON — The Senate voted 51-49 on Wednesday to kill a Democratic motion that would have forced the Senate to vote in the coming days on requiring the Trump administration to make public its files on Jeffrey Epstein, the late financier and sex offender.
