Two PennDOT employees from Butler County received the agency’s Star of Excellence Award during a ceremony at the National Civil War Museum in Harrisburg on Tuesday, Sept. 9. The Star of Excellence Award is given to PennDOT employees who “represent the department’s values of service, performance and integrity.”

Aaron Raible of Fenelton, and Greg Schnur of Butler, both work for PennDOT’s District 10, which covers Armstrong, Butler, Clarion, Indiana and Jefferson counties. Raible and Schnur were two of the 30 total Star of Excellence Award recipients.

Raible works as the Highway Maintenance Manager in Armstrong County, while Schnur is a Senior Civil Engineer Supervisor.
