MADISON, Wis. - The 14th annual 9/11 "Never Forget" Blood Drive hosted by the Madison Police Department, Madison Fire Department, and the American Red Cross is happening Thursday.
From 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., the Goodman Center will be open with volunteers ready to help you make your blood donation. That is at 214 Waubesa St., in Madison.
Both the Madison Fire and Police Departments invite you to honor the day and support the community by giving blood to help meet the constant need for life-saving donations.
According to Red Cross, this year’s drive is anticipated to collect approximately 136 donations.
Officials are encouraging you to schedule an appointment to avoid longer waiting times. However, walk-ins are welcome.
