A decade ago, upon graduation from Kirkland Lake District Composite School, Larder Lake’s Chase Kasner had a dream to become a singer-song writer and recording artist.

10 years later, the 27-year-old’s journey into the world of music has taken him from being the frontman of River Town Saints, to now a solo artist.

In an interview with the Northern News from Kelowna, British Columbia where he was attending the 2025 Canadian Country Music Awards, Kasner spoke about the last 10 years and what lies ahead.

“My journey started with me doing covers on Instagram, Facebook and that kind of stuff. Then it progressed into making videos on YouTube.”
