After prominent conservative activist Charlie Kirk was shot and killed during a university event in Utah, the political sphere erupted in concerns over growing political violence in the United States.

“We shouldn’t regard one another as enemies. We’re fellow Americans, and we should have vigorous debate, but it cannot lead to political violence. It’s just too much,” House Speaker Mike Johnson said Wednesday.
