An iconic Humpty Dumpty statue needs to be put back together again after two men were caught on camera as one of them stole the character from a golf course at the Jersey Shore.

Police in Cape May said the statue was forcibly taken from its spot at Ocean Putt Miniature Golf located on Jackson Street early on Sunday, Sept. 7.

One of the two men seen in surveillance video allegedly climbed the fence at the course and removed Humpty Dumpty before dropping it at a property a few doors away, police said.

One suspect is seen wearing a white and green baseball cap with a pink-colored shirt that had a design on the bottom right and light colored shorts.

The other suspect was seen wearing a white shirt and light colored pants.
