CINCINNATI —

No one was injured after a fire Wednesday night in Mt. Lookout, according to Cincinnati fire officials.

Authorities say they were dispatched to the 3000 block of Alpine Terrace just before 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. Arriving units were met with smoke in the area of an apartment complex. Advertisement

Officials say Hyde Park Engine 46 was met with people coming out of a building with smoke in the main hallway, and were advised the fire was in a bedroom in a lower level of the apartment.

The fire was extinguished in under 10 minutes.

Multiple crews were used to search the building, officials say, and found that all occupants had self evacuated.

Two people have been displaced and an estimated $25,000 was caused by the fire.

A cause for the fire remains under investigation.
