EVERGREEN, Colo. — Shaken parents rushed to a reunification center Wednesday afternoon for any word on the condition of their children following a shooting at Evergreen High School that critically injured two students and left the suspect, also a student, dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

According to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, the shooting was reported at 12:24 p.m. on school grounds.

All three juveniles were transported to CommonSpirit St. Anthony Health Center in Lakewood as Jeffco Public Schools worked to contact stunned families.
