Flight 93 National Memorial 9/11 observance includes prayers, speeches, ringing of Bells of Remembrance

SHANKSVILLE, Pa. – The annual ceremony honoring the lives lost during the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks took place at the Flight 93 National Memorial on Thursday morning.

United Airlines Flight 93, carrying 40 passengers and crew, crashed in Somerset County after being hijacked by al-Qaeda members. All people on board died.
