PITTSBURGH —
Two people were taken to hospitals after a crash on Route 28 in Pittsburgh Thursday morning.
According to officials, one of those patients had to be rescued from the car following the crash on Route 28 near the North 8/Butler off-ramp. Advertisement
The conditions of both people who were hospitalized has not been released.
Route 28's southbound lanes were closed earlier in the morning but have since reopened after being cleared by emergency responders.
PennDOT warns of residual delays in the area.
