Car catches fire on I-40 under bridge in North Little Rock

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Fire crews were on the scene of a car that caught fire on Interstate 40 in North Little Rock Thursday morning.

Officials with the Arkansas Department of Transportation reported the fire around 9:20 a.m. under the Highway 107 JFK Boulevard bridge.

Traffic crews have not released details of possible injuries or the cause of the fire.

The scene has been cleared.
