A Glasgow Asda worker has tragically died after collapsing at work.

Bryan Kelly, 34, was understood to have been suffering from headaches during his shift at the Toryglen branch on August 28. He passed away in hospital the following day.

Tributes have flooded in for the "kind and generous" employee, reports the Daily Record.

Thomas White, General Store manager of Asda Toryglen, paid tribute to 'well-liked' Bryan. He said: "Everyone at the store was deeply saddened to learn that Bryan had passed away and the thoughts of everyone here go out to his family and friends.

"Bryan had been with us at the store for five years and was a well-liked and key part of the team here at Asda Toryglen, and he will be sorely missed."
