POLK COUNTY, Fla. – The Orange County Sheriff’s Office has fired a recently-hired deputy recruit after he was arrested in Polk County.
The Polk County Sheriff’s Office said it arrested Jabez Lowe on Wednesday, accused of offering to solicit prostitution.
During text and phone conversations, Lowe agreed to provide $80 for a 15-minute encounter, referred to as a “QV” or quick visit, Polk deputies said. He arrived alone at the undercover location just after midnight, according to the sheriff’s office.
Upon meeting the detective, deputies said Lowe confirmed he wanted 15 minutes for $80.
Lowe was reportedly taken into custody shortly after midnight without incident and was transported to the Polk County Jail. He admitted to driving to the location to exchange $80 for sex acts, saying it w
