The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced that a single lane closure is scheduled for this Friday, Sept. 12, on the Market Street Bridge (Route 3012) spanning the Susquehanna River between Lemoyne Borough, Cumberland County and the City of Harrisburg, Dauphin County.

The closure will be in place for a bridge inspection related to an upcoming rehabilitation project, a press release said.

Weather permitting, the right eastbound lane will be closed on the bridge from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 12. Restrictions will be lifted immediately after this work is completed to avoid impacts during afternoon rush hour and travel to the Harrisburg Senators home game on City Island.
