A clear majority of Bay State residents approve of Gov. Maura Healey’s job performance as she moves into the thick of her 2026 re-election campaign, while President Donald Trump has lost more ground, according to a new poll.

Fifty-five percent of respondents to the new MassINC/CommonWealth Beacon poll said they either strongly or somewhat approved of the Arlington Democrat’s job performance.

That’s compared to the roughly one-third (33%) of the poll’s 1,000 respondents who expressed varying degrees of disapproval. Eleven percent had no opinion of her.
