Kilwinnign Rangers have been forced to replay their Scottish Cup tie against Penicuik Athletic after making six substitutions.
The Buffs had won the game 4-2 and were drawn away to Highland League side Clachnacuddin in the first round proper. However their clash against the Cuikie will be played again following the error after the club were ruled to have breached Competition Rule 13.1.
The date for the replayed tie has yet to be announced.
A club statement confirmed the punishment, and said: "Kilwinning Rangers Football Club has been instructed to replay its Scottish Gas Men’s Scottish Cup Preliminary Round 2 fixture against Penicuik Athletic following a breach of Competition Rule 13.1.
