The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Riverside County rose Thursday to its highest amount since June 5, increasing 1.3 cents to $4.546.
The average price has risen six consecutive days, increasing 6.7 cents, including 1.3 cents Wednesday, according to figures from the AAA and the Oil Price Information Service. The increases follow back-to-back decreases totaling four-tenths of a cent.
The average price is 6.4 cents more than one week ago, 23.7 cents higher than one month ago and 4.4 cents greater than one year ago. It has dropped $1.827 since rising to a record $6.373 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The national average price rose one-tenth of a cent to $3.194, one day after remaining unchanged. It is seven-tenths of a cent less than one week ago and 5.9 cents lower than one
