In their season debut game, the New England Patriots lost to the Las Vegas Raiders .

Failing to cinch the win by seven points at a final score of 13 to 20, head coach Mike Vrabel said in a post-game press conference that the New England team simply did not do enough to win the second half of the game.

"Too many missed opportunities, too many penalties," Vrabel said. "Didn't take advantage of bad football, and then we're able to have bad football ourselves."
