Britain’s ambassador to the United States, Peter Mandelson, has been dismissed after fresh revelations highlighted the depth of his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein.

Prime Minister Keir Starmer ordered Mandelson’s withdrawal following the release of emails that contradicted earlier accounts of his ties to the late financier.
