According to Charlotte Observer sports columnist Scott Fowler, Carolina Panthers football communications coordinator Charlie Rock was fired Thursday after creating an Instagram story that mocked Kirk’s death and was deemed “insensitive.” A source briefed NJ Advance Media on the team’s decision and confirmed that Rock is no longer with the team.
