ACTRESS Kate Beckinsale has risked a huge fine after appearing to break a little-known rule.

The star took to Instagram where she uploaded a slew of snaps posing with wild donkeys and ponies.

Kate staged an impromptu photoshoot in which she got up close with the ponies and donkeys and smiled away for the cameras.

The snaps were taken in the New Forest National Park with Kate proudly posing in a pair of tiny shorts with monstrously high heeled black boots .

She added a flimsy white top to her ensemble for the unique set of images.
