When conservative activist Charlie Kirk was shot and killed Wednesday while speaking at a university in Utah he left behind a wife and two young children — a son and a daughter.

He was just 31.

And in the wake of his death his fans took to his social media accounts to send condolences to his family. They didn’t have to scroll back too far on his Instagram to find a picture of his daughter, who was born in 2022, that had everyone getting emotional.

Kirk is sitting on the beach with her and playing in the sand in the photo which was posted two weeks ago.

“Happy birthday to our incredible daughter,” he wrote. “Teaching her to know God alongside (Erika Kirk) is the greatest privilege. Having a family will change your life in the best ways, so get married and have kids. You won’t regret
