DENVER (KDVR) — Boulder police are investigating a report of a man with a gun near Fairview High School.

Police have not released many details but said at 11:06 a.m. on X that the high school and a nearby middle school are on lockdown.

Police asked people to avoid the area, and they have closed the road in front of the school from Greenbriar and Broadway to Greenbriar and Gillespie.
