JANESVILLE, Wis. — A senior citizen is in critical condition after being hit by a vehicle on Thursday morning.

Around 7:30 a.m., Janesville Police and Fire were called to the 300 block of W. Delavan Dr. for a traffic crash with injury.

A vehicle leaving a business parking lot hit a pedestrian on the sidewalk. The 91-year-old victim was taken to Mercy Hospital and later moved by Med Flight to UW Hospital. The victim is said to have life-threatening injuries.

The vehicle's driver is cooperating with the investigation, and no charges have been filed yet.
