EXCLUSIVE : Katherine McNamara and her Shadowhunters co-star Alberto Rosende are joining Arden Cho ( KPop Demon Hunters ) and Margaret Cho ( Dying for Sex ) in the cast of indie rom-com Cheap AF , which is now underway in Seattle, WA.

Josh Plasse ( The Baxters ) and Toan Le ( The Sympathizer ) have also joined the movie, which is written and directed by debut feature filmmaker Roy Hsu.

Pic tells the story of Carol, a money-saving influencer (Arden Cho) seeking her big break, who risks losing her wedding and relationships when she goes all out to win Wedding Magazine’s “Best Wedding on a Budget” social media competition.
