LIBERTY COUNTY, Texas — Deputies are searching for a suspect wanted in connection with a deadly shooting at the Alas Locas sports bar in the Plum Grove area that left two people dead and four others injured, according to the Liberty County Sheriff’s Office.

What happened

The shooting happened shortly before 2:30 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 7, at the bar on County Road 5018. Investigators said the suspect had been at the bar around midnight, where he drank several beers and paid in cash. About two hours later, he returned with a handgun and opened fire — first at people on the patio and then through the front door.

When deputies arrived, they found six people had been shot.

Alexis Jasso, 30, was pronounced dead at the scene.
