The new medical drama with 100% on Rotten Tomatoes, Berlin ER , is coming back. Described as a gritty and fast-paced saga, which is created by Samuel Jefferson, a former emergency room physician turned screenwriter, alongside Viktor Jakovleski, Berlin ER debuted back in February 2025. The eight-episode series is led by Haley Louise Jones (Netflix's Dear Child ) and Crooks star Slavko Popadić.

The streaming original is part of the revived interest in medical shows across television . It debuted to positive reviews and received six nominations at the most recent German Television Awards, including Best Drama and Best Cinematography, winning in both categories.
