Taylor Swift dominated the news for years when she re-released several albums under the vaunted Taylor's Versions banner , and Mötley Crüe is following suit with a high-profile new take on their 1985 classic "Home Sweet Home." Except they're admittedly driven by different motivations; Swift by a record label dispute, while Mötley Crüe just wanted to record with Dolly Parton.

“Mötley Crüe and Dolly Parton together is the ultimate clickbait,” songwriter and bassist Nikki Sixx told the Los Angeles Times this week , with the new version of "Home Sweet Home" appearing on the band's upcoming From The Beginning greatest-hits style compilation . The rendition was suitably laid down in Nashville and indeed features Parton belting out the song's classic chorus.
