SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - A Shreveport couple has been arrested and accused of defrauding Louisiana’s Medicaid program of more than $127,000, according to Attorney General Liz Murrill’s Office .

Agents with the Louisiana Bureau of Investigation (LBI) arrested 42-year-old Ebony Taylor and her husband, 39-year-old Andre Jackson, both of Simpson Road, after investigators said the pair concealed income and assets to remain eligible for Medicaid.

Officials said Taylor fraudulently applied for and received benefits for herself and her dependents between 2017 and 2025, while Jackson also received Medicaid by claiming no income for years.
