MASON, Ohio (WXIX) - Mason police are now investigating the death of a Cincinnati Open intern as a vehicular homicide, according to a recently released police report.

Originally, the Butler County Coroner’s Office ruled Joshua Darst’s death an accident and that he died from head trauma.

On Thursday, Mason police released a redacted version of the incident report, which details that they are investigating the accident as a vehicular homicide.

Officers were dispatched to the tennis center at 10:58 p.m. for a report of a man who fell out of a “four-passenger golf cart.”
