EVERGREEN, Colo. — The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office on Thursday identified the student who shot two students and himself at Evergreen High School as 16-year-old Desmond Holly.
Holly, who shot two students around 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, died of self-inflicted injuries, the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office said.
The two students who were shot were taken to St. Anthony's Hospital. Hospital staff said on Thursday morning that one of those students remains in critical condition. 9NEWS confirmed that the other student, who did not have life-threatening injuries, was transferred to Children's Hospital Colorado on Wednesday night. 9NEWS previously reported that this student had been released from the hospital.
