“Big Little Lies” is officially making a big return with a long-awaited third season at HBO after a 6-year hiatus.

“Mr. and Mrs. Smith” co-creator Francesca Sloane, who has a new two-year overall deal at the network, will write the premiere and executive produce the season alongside returning stars Reese Witherspoon and Nicole Kidman as well as series creator David E. Kelley, Variety reports.

The Emmy-winning (previously) limited series — which debuted as a finite offering in 2017 and returned for a less-beloved sophomore season two years later — is based on Liane Moriarty’s 2014 novel, which explores domestic violence and small town secrets. A sequel to the book is slated for next year.
