Within hours of President Donald Trump announcing that Charlie Kirk had died after being shot at an event in Utah, campus groups and communities around the country began planning vigils to honor the Turning Point USA founder.
During the vigils, crowds of varying sizes gathered with signs, flowers and candles to honor Kirk and his legacy.
