The New York Yankees are looking to get back on the winning track Thursday night.

After two blowout home losses to the Detroit Tigers , the Yankees are hoping to rebound and regain some momentum heading into a big weekend series against the Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park.

And extra security measures are in place for this Sept. 11 game at Yankee Stadium as President Donald Trump is scheduled to visit.

The Yankees are planning to “recognize the victims and heroes’’ of Sept. 11, 2001 in ceremonies before the 7:05 p.m. game against the Detroit Tigers.
