Apple TV+ has renewed epic sci-fi series Foundation for season 4. The show is based on a series of novels by Isaac Asimov and stars Lee Pace, Jared Harris, and Lou Llobell. For its third season, Troy Kotsur, Pilou Asbæk, and Cody Fern. The series has received positive notes from critics, but in its third season, showrunner, director, and co-develop David S. Goyer exited.

Foundation season 3 also saw production restarts and budget adjustments as filming continued. But, earlier this year, Fear the Walking Dead 's Ian Goldberg was brought on board as an executive producer and showrunner, a positive sign as work on a writer's room commenced. Now, it seems Apple is pleased with Goldberg and the team's work so far.
