On Thursday, Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scott revealed the city is prepared for any federal intervention, including the possible deployment of National Guard troops, but emphasized his administration’s priority remains on reducing crime through local means.
Speaking with WBAL NewsRadio’s C4 and Bryan Nehman, Scott shared his office has not received any direct communication from the White House about potential federal action but noted that Baltimore must be ready for “any and everything.”
“What I expect from this administration is unexpected, which is why you have to be prepared,” Scott said.
“We hope they have heard the call from Congress and others about ways to support cities who are driving down violence in ways that we have never seen in the case of Baltimore. But we also will be prepa
