As some Boxford residents face their third day without water, Gov. Maura Healey declared a water emergency and allowed the Department of Public Utilities to take control of Andrews Farm Water Co.

"We've been asking for help for years," said resident Stephen Guilmette.
"This is definitely been exceedingly frustrating," said resident Riley Stone.
The lack of water has disrupted daily life for many in the Andrews Farm community.
"Can't shower, can't wash clothes. I got a 10-year-old, 12-year-old, wife, it's brutal," one resident said.
