Ithaca, N.Y. – State and local police are searching Buttermilk Falls State Park for a missing former Ithaca College student.

The search includes dogs and drones, according to the State Police.

The search is being conducted by state troopers, forest rangers and park police, as well as deputies with the Tompkins County Sheriff’s Department and volunteers.

The park covers more that 800 acres, featuring 10 waterfalls, hiking trails and campgrounds.

The search teams are looking for Jonathan ‘Jon’ D. D’Agostino, 20.

Trooper Aga Tinker, a spokesperson for the State Police, confirmed at noon on Thursday that D’Agostino has not been found and the search is ongoing.

The search started on Monday, she said. Police announced the search was underway on Wednesday.
