N.C. State football opens ACC play Thursday, Sept. 11, with a trip to Winston-Salem to face rival Wake Forest (7:30 p.m., ESPN) in one of the league’s oldest and most storied matchups.

This rivalry dates back to 1895 and has been played every year since 1910, making it the ACC's longest continuous series. The Wolfpack leads the all-time series 69-43-6, but wins in Winston-Salem have been rare, with just three road victories since 2000.
