A subway conductor rushed to stop a train during a rainstorm, saving a 14-year-old boy’s life after he fainted onto the tracks at a subway station in New York City.

On Wednesday, Aug. 20, Ray McKie, a 37-year-old conductor for the MTA, was returning to work at the Queensboro Plaza subway station when he heard screams coming from the above-ground platform.
