Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College’s Harrison County campus is now giving the public an opportunity to experience music legends through a different medium this fall.

The campus Fine Art Gallery is hosting “Crossed Roads: From Music to Art,” an exhibition by Gulfport artist Becci Rae Edwards featuring more than 40 colorful portraits of icons, including Freddie Mercury, Dolly Parton, Jimi Hendrix, and The Notorious B.I.G. The show will run from now until October 24th.

A special “jam session” reception will be held Oct. 23 from 12:20 to 1:20 p.m. with live performances by the MGCCC concert choir and C Side vocalists, a Contemporary A Cappella ensemble, presenting selections inspired by the artwork.
