PINE RIVER — Caylei Johnson finished with 13 digs and 12 set assists and Mimi Bueckers recorded nine kills to lead the Pine River-Backus Tigers to a 3-0 victory over the Staples-Motley Cardinals on Monday, Sept. 8.

PR-B’s Ella Brewer contributed 13 digs and four kills, and Ella Dahl added 12 digs and four kills.

"We had a solid win at home," Coach Crysta Blake said. "It was nice to start to see individuals shine in what we've been practicing and having mental toughness to stay dialed in for a three-set win.

"Kudus to this team on their game management and limiting unforced errors and cleaning up on the service line tonight," she said.
