Adelaide has secured hosting rights for one of the world’s leading defence and trade conventions, with the prestigious Undersea Defence Technology (UDT) expo set to be staged outside Europe for the first time in its 37-year history.
The SA Government has confirmed that Adelaide will host the globally recognised event from December 2026, with a three-year commitment that will see the city become the Southern Hemisphere’s hub for undersea defence innovation. The convention is expected to draw around 2,000 delegates from across the globe, more than half of whom will travel from overseas.
