Felicity Altiman will have to wait nearly two decades before she can apply for parole for stabbing Robert (Bob) Keskinen to death in his International Hotel building apartment early on Dec. 25, 2020.
“In my opinion … this case is in one of the worst possible classes of second-degree murder,” Superior Court Justice Dan Cornell ruled Thursday. “Stand up, Miss Altiman … I have decided you should not be eligible for parole for a period of 18 years.”
Altiman, 43, did not appear to react to the decision immediately, but was tearful as security staff led her out of the courtroom.
On Oct. 23 last year, a six-man, six-woman jury needed about a day of deliberations to convict Altiman after Justice Cornell charged the day before.
The conviction carried with it an automatic life sentence – 25 year
