Fans of the popular TV series The Last of Us and The Studio may be interested to know a Chatham native’s talents as a Foley artist helps provide the realistic sound quality for these shows.

Jason Charbonneau was at the Peacock Theatre in downtown Los Angeles last weekend as part of the team from Q5 Foley that won two Primetime Creative Arts Emmys for outstanding sound editing for their work on The Last of Us (one-hour comedy or drama series) on HBO and The Studio (half-hour comedy or drama series) on Apple TV.

“It was incredible,” Charbonneau said of winning two Emmys.

Calling the nomination a team effort that included the sound supervisor, mixer along with dialogue, music and sound editors, he said, “So, when we win, we all win together.”
