The UL-Missouri football game, which was originally scheduled for 3 p.m. on Saturday, has been moved up to a noon kickoff because of forecasted extreme heat in Columbia, Missouri.
The high temperature in Columbia on Saturday is expected to reach 98 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.
"Nothing is more important to us than the health and safety of our student-athletes and the game-day experience for our fans," Missouri athletic director Laird Veatch said in a statement. "We are incredibly grateful to our fans for their understanding and flexibility as we make this adjustment.
